Chiaradia winery produces and retails high quality Lucanian wines. We obtain excellent products from the grapes that are grown in the Roccanova region, in the province of Potenza, a rather well-suited, hillside area, which was already famous in Roman times for fine wines
Our Epeo wine stands out among our leading products - a mix of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malvasia Nera di Basilicata grapes made in the footsteps of the well-known Grottino di Roccanova, fully complying with organic standards.
Our vineyards
We obtain wines of the highest quality from our vineyards at Chiardia winery, which is recognised both nationally and internationally as excellent wine. At our vineyard in Roccanova, we deal with each and every part of the wine production process, from selecting the grapes to vinification and then through to bottling.
In addition to our DOP Epeo wine, we have recently expanded our cellars to include the IGP Basilicata Don Josè Rosso wines, created from the perfect union of Sangiovese and Barbera grapes, as well as Bianco, coming from combining Malvasia Bianca di Basilicata, Trebbiano d 'Abruzzo, Bombino Bianco and Tocai grapes. DOP Grottino di Roccanova Ebrezza wine is our latest addition, a perfect rosé to brighten up aperitives and dinners.
